Clean and comfortable Love how close it was to the highway

Good location, good price, had everything we needed.

Convenient location near the highway in Valemount but relatively close to the main part of town. Staff was friendly. The room was clean.

I was given a first floor room near the back entrance to the hotel. Immediately upon check-in I could audibly hear what sounded like someone scrolling video apps on their phone right outside my window. Turns out there was a bench right there that other guests were using to sit and smoke at. This is in violation of BC law that restricts smoking with 6 metres of a door or window. After enduring multiple individuals chain smoking for 15-20 minutes, coughing up a lung, scrolling their phones on full volume, and having expletive-laden conversations with other guests who seemed to know each other, I took it upon myself to go outside and move the bench further away so it wasn't right outside my window. I'm not sure how people haven't complained about this previously. In addition, it seemed like the room above me on the second floor was unoccupied the first night I was there, but when someone checked in on the second night, the amount of audible noise transference from upstairs was horrible. You could hear every footstep, voices, furniture in the kitchen area being dragged around. It was quite bad. Seems like there is very little soundproofing. Not a good experience. I would not stay here again.
