Best Western Glengarry

Very clean, parking was great! Bathroom was clean everything worked perfectly. Breakfast was wonderful every morning, great variety and very clean as well.

The location was great. Easy walking into Truro. The evening meal and friendly staff in Millers restaurant made our stay enjoyable.

Rooms were comfortable and clean. As we were travelling as a group it was nice that the rooms were adjoining. Public areas were comfortable and space to wait or relax if waiting for friends or colleagues. Location was easy to find and close to local amenities and restaurants.

Only one bedside table between the beds. Ideally need one on each side of bed(s) with reading lights and power connections.

Nice comfortable bed, amazing tasty supper with great service at restaurant.

As soon as I walked into my room on the main level , the dank musty odour in the room was nauseating, I opened the door to outside to air it out. I think the carpet needs to be changed. It gave me a headache and I felt like the air conditioning just made it worse. There was some sort of odour trap / plastic thing under the bed that captures moisture maybe? It’s a shame, I was so impressed by the food and service at restaurant and had stayed here before but won’t go back after this. I was tossing and turning all night. The bad room air really zapped me. My sinuses started revolting against the smell. I couldn’t open the window so just tried to get through the night, the air conditioning did nothing to help. I think it must be the carpet. Or there’s mold in the room. When I checked out no one asked me how my stay was. I decided to let them know about this and all they said was oh well let housekeeping know. I’m thinking management needs to explore this further as it is not housekeeping that will fix a bad air quality issue.
