This motel is not close to the airport. The room claimed to be non-smoking but it smelled horribly, so bad that I had to wash the clothes in my bag because they smelled of smoke. There was a woman who tried to get into my room at 5:45 in the morning, accusing me of stealing her room. As a single female that terrified me and I called my ride to leave immediately after. There was dirt and hair in all the drawers, as well as stains on the bedsheets and pillowcases. When I complained the lady from the front desk tried to help, but it was just as bad as before. She told me it was not dirt, just stains and cracks in the paint. I asked her why there was no security lock on the door she said that the hotel had to take it off because Alberta Health Services required her to. That indicates to me that unsafe activities happen in the motel frequently. Throughout the night I could hear sirens responding to crises nearby, one was so close it may have been in the parking lot, though I was too nervous to check. I have stayed in my fair share of cheap hotels and dealt with old and rundown buildings, but this one was the worst due to the smell and lack of a feeling of safety. The number one goal of a hotel is a safe night's sleep and this one didn't provide that. .

A bugbite woke me up in the middle of the night, I am still itching up until now. I talked to the lady who must be a housekeeper or wasn't sure if she was a manager. I showed her the bug that bit me and she told me it was a beetle. I told her I used to work in the hotel industry and I know how detrimental a bedbug is to the business. She went in our room and told me how hot it was. Of course it was hot because we had to turn the heater up as I didnt want to use their blanket at all. I asked for a refund however they wouldnt compensate me for the hassle that is has brought to me and family. I will definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone even if they offer their rooms for free.

We were driving from BC and had boked 2 sperate rooms out of which 1 room was not ready when we checked in. We checked in 2 hours late so the housekeeping staff had enough time to prepare that room, and the lady at the reception said that there is no housekeeping available so she offered another room. it was OK room

Đidn't know that there was a breakfast. Everything was not prepared. I was in the laundry room at 8. Front desk personnel were very helpful and approachable.

Didn’t get the room we booked and also got charged the same price for a smaller room which we know is 475 for 5 night compared to the 575 we paid for 3 nights so that’s a rip off also got charged 10 bucks for a dirty sheets.

Working microwave, good air-conditioning and decently clean.

The smell when you first enter the room may be nerving but I could tell it was vinegar or some concoction to better clean the room, which is great. However, I would leave the window open to air it out a bit or leave a herbal stick to leave a more gentle scent in the room to distract the customer from the smell.

The property was much better than i had anticipated. Bare bones, no frills.

The unsavoury local addicts surrounding the property. Made me uncomfortable.
