The room and building was astounding, living up to it's name as oldest hotel in Vancouver! All the furniture was well kept and clean.
Not the hotels fault, but having the New Westminster train station directly beside the hotel was not something I was expecting to run every 10 minutes until 1am. For a local it's not that bad but someone who is from a different time zone that like being awake until 4am.

The location was the best a 3 minute walk to skytrain and 30 minute ride to downtown and a 5 minute walk to the river quay. A large 751 SF space, The old style feeling of staying in my grandmothers house, with older well worn furniture. The antique elevator. All of this was fine for us as everything is a tradeoff for value. We actually stayed 4 nights.
Be aware that the skytrain line is right outside. Got used to the rumble and tuned out at night with white noise.

Staff kind and helpful. Cozy bed and bed sheets. I appreciate you make non scented laundry as lots of clients have sensitive skin. Please continue gentle washing formula . Spacious apartment. Felt safe, and quiet. I like you have extra sheets to use and pillows.
Wifi was weak, could be better . Hard to do work on its
Sink area can be better if you remove the table above sink to let easier washing in the bathroom sink, put side shelves instead so not in the way. Biggest frustration and small improvement to units that can change experience a lot.
Wish the vhs worked to use all the movies.🍿

Really cool old hotel.
Skytrain is right next to hotel. Should have been warned about trains running every 5’ till 2am and again at 6am. Should provide ear plugs as I have had at other noisy hotels.
