Nice rooms, friendly staff and a truly fantastic restaurant. Easily the best meal I had all vacation. Even if you're not staying here, the restaurant is worth a visit.

Springs in the bed was extremely uncomfortable, no restaurant available, having to pay an extra $100.00 dollars not to share a bathroom for medical reasons.

The building is full of character and detail with a beautiful garden. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The meals were to a very high standard. Breakfast was included and it was delicious. Dinner was not included but we decided to eat in the restaurant and it was to a high standard.

I had thought the bedroom would be bigger as the pictures suggested that but it was quite small and dark. The bed was very comfortable however

All the employees were so nice and everybody was smiling !

The architecture is very impressive. The location is good and the view from the garden is also enjoyable.

A month before our arrival, I contacted the hotel, asking if we could have dinner in the hotel restaurant which closes at 9 pm. The earliest time we could arrive was 8:45 because the ferry was scheduled to arrive at 8:15 pm and we had to drive 30 minutes to the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel at about 9 pm, we saw people eating in the restaurant, and we asked if we were able to eat, the answer was NO, which was shocking, because we expected the hotel would have arranged something for us. Instead, the staff said we could drive to Remouski, in a rainy night, after a long drive from Quebec City, No, Thank You. Then the room was downstairs with entrance from outside. The steps were very slippery, and we had to walk down in darkness and it was very difficult to drag carry-on luggage down so many steps. It would have been nice if the hotel staff offered any help. The next morning, the hotel didn't offer any hot breakfast, everything cold. This hotel was the most expensive one during our entire trip in Quebec! Not good value for money.

Wonderfully extravagant and eclectic Victoriana decor with a relaxing ambience. Fabulous bedroom with four poster bed, separate sitting area and balcony with coastal views. Welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. Superb food in the restaurant for dinner
