Neat structure. Super good breakfast. Comfy rooms, great sheets on comfortable bed and hot strong water pressure. Nice garden and porch area too.

It’s a lovely property that retains so many original features. The front desk staff were polite and helpful. Dinner was really tasty and well presented.
Breakfast was disappointing after the high standard of dinner.
It’s a pity that the City of London itself has deteriorated so much.

The facility was smaller than I expected, but very homely and comforting. We, as a family, were quite stressed about our situation at the time, but the stay was relaxing.
The staff at the reception and the restaurant were concerned and engaging. I had to change my dates of my booking and they were kind enough to do it.
I was charged on my credit card before I checked in, and I am unsure whether the charge was made by Booking.com or the hotel. I am still waiting for the refund to my credit card, and since it is a significant amount, I am anxious.

The included breakfast was very good. Room was spacious. Bed was comfortable.
Hallway carpets could be replaced. Dining room while reputed to be excellent was too expensive for our budget.
