The location is about 10~15mins walk to CBD, and short walk to shops, supermarkets...etc. The whole hostel is well organized, the cleaning time at all areas. And I forgot to tell the staff that one of the USB adapter of my bed is not working, BUT, there are another 2 adapters so not big issue.(Forgot my room number, my room is at 3rd floor right next to the female restroom and my bed is the bottom bed near the door). Overall, it was a nice stay, compares the price and what you get, there's nothing you can conplain. I would stay there again~ Thank you to all staff there.
There are only one female restroom at my floor, and only 2 showers and 3 toilets inside, so make sure you avoid rush hours.

The property is nice, the bed are confortable, there are several spaces for us and everything
Impossible to sleep, first the doors, every time someone opens or close a door it’s make so much noise I was woken every hour. And it’s my second stay, both of them where the same. And the space to put or backpack under the bed is metal so same every time it open or close it makes to much noise even if the person is trying to be silent.
Being in room of 4 is nice for sleeping but all of this that I mentioned before cancel that..

Excelente ubicación, todos los establecimientos necesarios a unos metros. La playa también a unas cuadras.
Se escucha mucho el ruido de afuera, que no tengan baño propio las habitaciones

I only stayed one night but facilities were really clean. The women’s bathroom was immaculate. It’s also nice that they have the plugs right on top of your head.
I also really like the neighborhood even though is not the most central location for touristy activities but there are bus stops less than 5 min away
Room was really hot even though it’s winter, we opened the window and thankfully my bed was right next to it so it was ok in the end.
Wish they had curtains for more privacy

Muito limpo, organizado e super bem localizado.
Foi o único hostel que fiquei no Canadá que não oferecia café. Mas entendo também que talvez seja particularidade da cidade.

Küche und Badezimmer sehr sauber. Waschbecken auf den Zimmern. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch Auskünfte zu Sehenswürdigkeiten und Aktivitäten waren hilfreich. Vom Hostel organisierter Filmabend und Führung von Stanley Park waren schön.
Keine Vorhänge vor den Betten und ungünstig platzierte Spiegel minimieren die Privatsphäre. Wände ein bisschen hellhörig. Kein Frühstücksangebot.

The location is very good so you can meet the city and the amenities of itself. The subway is about 6 blocks from the hostal and that makes accessibility good. The staff treats you nice and I think that’s something to necessary to say.
I stay two nights so I can wait a flight connection and the two times the bed that hostal assigned me was busy for others persons, they resolved it quickly but I need to come back twice to reception.

The location of the hostel is great! very easy to get aldins and see everything!
Rooms were dirty, dust bunnies everywhere! Also showers were not clean. There was a used makeup wipe in the shower on the floor for three days.

It was so close to other attractions, the beach and town
Do not want to say anything I didn’t like about it as I know they are going through renovations so the facilities and cleanliness of the building wasn’t the best but I can’t wait till it is all done.

They only had one fan and no air-conditioning. There is no ventilation, and you can't open or allow to open the windows. 4 people in a hot room with one standing fan and no ventilation or air-conditioning was a torture for me. I moved out before my checkout. :(
Other than the location and cleaning, the rest was not comfortable

We were moved to the Gage Suites at UBC due to renovation work at HI Vancouver. They were comfy, well located and the change was well communicated by Grant. A great experience.

I reached to the location and this property was locked down for many years.
I was completely shocked and checked in a nearby hotel by paying CAD 400 per night.
It was sad that I booked this property through booking .com
Please take legal action against the owner.

The breakfast was the best part of the hostel!
One of my plugs next to the bed didn't work.

Easy to find, good location. Went to small victory bakery in the morning. great coffee.
The room could have been a little cleaner, I found a used earplug under the bed after dropping my phone down there. Beds are a little uncomfortable because of the plastic covering but I was still able to sleep just fine.

Location is great - a block from the Gay Village where groceries, cares and restaurants abound.
Ventilation in the room. We had a small electric fan that’s on 24 hours. The room can be suffocating with only a tiny window.
