It was all so pretty! Loved the decoration and all the little details. The garden and deck are also amazing

I had initially booked to stay in Lunenburg, but canceled to stay here, and I'm so glad I did. This is a gorgeous little spot. We were warmly greeted by Marc on our arrival and given a tour of the property. Our room was beautifully decorated and spacious and had a well-equipped kitchenette (complete with microwave popcorn...nice touch!) We all enjoyed playing with the dogs and sitting out on the dock with a drink - my son and I even took a dip in the LaHave. We would definitely come back if in the area.

Both the property and our suite couldn't have been better. The owners have created a perfectly beautiful place with attention to detail everywhere; from the lawn furniture on the manicured grounds along the river to the unique interior design if our room, no detail was forgotton!

A delightful bright room. Very clean and in great condition. Gave us great recommendations for meals. Very convenient to explore the area.

The rooms are beautiful, beds are so comfortable and the shower is perfect. There is a campfire weather pending which enables us to meet other guests.

Friendly and helpful hostess, comfortable room, beautiful view with sitting area by the water in back of motel. Even had a fire prepared for us to sit by while enjoying a glass of wine during the evening. Room was clean. Location was great.

A small cottage but well set up for our two night stay. The owner was very warm and welcoming and provided us with lots of valuable information. The setting of the place was serene and lovely -- surrounded by a wide swathe of lawn and trees and adjacent to a lake. If we had stayed longer, we would have taken advantage of the deck to relax. the campfire in the evenings was a lovely touch. The kitchen, though small, had all the basic appliances and a dining table and chair.

Room theme was so fun. Our room had many pictures of the bluenose and ship information. it was great! Room was clean. Bed was comfy.

Not advertised correctly - Noise from cars, No real Privacy, and laundry needs more attention.
- There was a pubic hair on the bathroom towel.
- Cars were parked right in front of my cottage, so early in the morning you are woken up.
- The cottage is falsely advertised as described on the website. One would certainly think that a Cottage is a stand alone property, however this was part of a building, and there was another "cottage" below mine. And the entrance to that cottage was by walking by mine on the upper level and the people can look right in, therefore you need to have the blinds pulled down the whole time to have privacy.
