Surfer Beach Hotel

The convenience to the beach.

We could have been given more than 2 rolls of toilet paper since we stayed for 3 days .

I was visiting from Boise Idaho and all I wanted was a room that wasnt going to give me bed bugs and was close to the ocean 🤣 This hotel was literal STEPS from the sand and ocean. The room was clean enough for me to not feel like I made a mistake in booking here. Everything is older but it is clean. The room had a balcony and sliding door. It was great to view the ocean right when I woke up and listen to the waves as I fell asleep. Very active night life around this hotel which is loud IF you have the door open but I had ZERO noise issues once my door was shut.

The mattress in my particular room for sure needs replaced but it is fine. I was only there 2 nights. So it worked. There is no microwave in the room. Fine. The mobile ac unit gave me a little grief with water leaking but the staff came right away and handled it. I did ask for an early check in and that wasnt able to happen but thats ok! I just doinked around in the area til 4pm

We had such a wonderful experience at The Surfer Beach Hotel! The staff and manager were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Our partial ocean view was absolutely perfect, and being just steps from the ocean made the location ideal. There were also so many excellent restaurants and shops nearby that everything was incredibly convenient. We didn’t need to drive anywhere during our stay! If you enjoy shopping and exploring, the nearby boardwalk is a fantastic spot to visit. We loved our time here and would happily stay again!

Close to beach, boardwalk and very good restaurant

Dirty, very tired even though recently renovated. Bed too soft and uncomfortable. The pillows lumpy.
