Great location in Union Square. Easy access to BART and bus lines to get around town. The hotel is clean and we liked the little cafe on the first floor, which offers free drip coffee for hotel guests. The rooms are quite small (no mini fridge, microwave, or coffee maker), but we found the space pleasant enough and worked well for our needs (mostly out and about in the city during out stay). Hotel felt safe and secure, lots of tourists walking around the area all times of day and night.

My only real complaint is that I called ahead to confirm that we could store our luggage at the hotel upon check out, as we had a late flight. However, the front desk worker while we were ther informed us that they did not offer luggage storage. She did direct us to the store across the street, which offers luggage storage for $8 a bag. That worked for us, but I was annoyed to be missed by my initial request. The rooms are not very soundproof. We could hear people walking down the hallway through our door..

It’s close to the BART train station

First, they told me they overbooked and just told us that they cannot find our reservation through the thirs party (Booking). Second, we booked the queen bed but was given twin beds instead (again because they overbooked). The least they could do was to give us a complimentary upgrade since it’s not our fault that they overbooked. Third, every night/early in the morning, we always hear knocking on the wall. SO WE CANNOT SLEEP PROPERLY! Lastly, they do not store luggage when checking out. P.S. The room has no aircondition. That should be emphasized every booking.
