The cottage was in a quiet area. close to local amenities; ice cream shop, small local market and beer store.

The location is nice, the people were friendly, the cabin was not difficult to find

Lack of sheets, towels and kitchen papers

Location is good. 15 min drive to wasaga Beach.

The accommodations where poor. Seems like The 3 bedroom cottage didn't have the care as the others did. The other cottages look much better ( from outside as I didn't see the I side)The cottage wasn't renovated. There was a hot water tank in one of the rooms that kept on filling up making lots of noise. Bad smell coming out of the drain when using the shower and the sink. (Even the kitchen sink)

Quiet

It was a good location, the cottage was clean and the full kitchen inventory was very good. New owners seemed nice and attended to the broken monitor quickly.

We didn’t like that TV cable is advertised but it is not available, there was a DVD player and monitor to watch Dvd’s The kids were disappointed in this it was a wet weekend we ended up purchasing dvd’s. We asked for an invoice but that has not appeared, we received proof of payment which is clearly not an invoice.

Good experience, I recommend this place and will probably try to visit again. Location is great. Parking, BBQs, and outdoor sitting areas available. Nice rustic cottage feel we were hoping for (although the cabins are due for updating). Better than camping and not boring like a hotel. Everyone in the town is friendly, especially at the nearby shops. The neighbourhood, rocky beach, evening sunsets, and scenery is beautiful. Tiny Marsh is nearby to explore. We brought bikes to commute around and it was an amazing, relaxing, nature-filled weekend. There were no evening campfires, but I think they are available in the summer months. WiFi worked fine. Didn't use the tv.

Didn't sleep well the first night because electric heat wasn't turned on (Oct evenings are cooler). We turned it on the next day and slept better :-). The water contains sulfur so there's some detectable smell and taste, we bought water to drink, the sulfur discolours silver jewellery so leave it at home. The futon used as a couch in the living room area was old and had lost its loft, so was too flat and uncomfortable to sit on. We were happy sitting at the kitchen table or on the beds instead. The wood wall paneling and lighting was a bit dark but no big deal for our short stay because we were outside all day.

It was really nice and clean. It was small and cute just what we needed

The cottage was extremely clean. Use of dollar store air fresheners was overwhelming. Placement of electrical outlets to water source was scary. Use of toilet was an experience. Quite a "ride" at every use. Shower in bedroom was an experience. Advertising TV and then not being able to access without wifi was disappointing. $30 for having a pet was exhorbatant. Walking distance to beach was lovely. Quiet neighbourhood. Pleasant walking.

There was a large group who had rented several of the cottages. They were very pleasant and welcoming. We however felt like we were intruding on their space. We could not use the fire pit as their group had it. Were uncomfortable sitting outside as we felt we were invading their party. Would suggest that if a large group is renting a number of cottages that the small cottage that we had should not be available for rent.

Location, convenience, comfort

Everything was perfect for the price amazing location and the price was perfect for our stay . Thanks to the host of woodland cottages she made our stay great 👍

Clean and enough room for 6. Nice backyard. Close to a small restaurant/icecream shop, a grocery and beer store. Rocky beach is 5 min walk.

House is dark: Ok for summer but for winter???

This is a little cottage built probably in the fifties. The toilet plugged but the owner was quick to help and they are lovely people. Just be aware that the cottages are very small and quite close together so your stay can be altered depending on who is your Neighbor. It was very close to the beach and super cute area.

Rented 3 cottages (1-bedroom, 2-bedroom and 2-bedroom) for the week and we had a great time. Deepa and family looked after the property very well and checked in frequently to make sure our needs were met. Cottages were clean and had all the basic necessities provided. We would definitely visit again!

Wifi was unreliable which was an issue for my husband at times as he was doing online classes. Understandable as it is cottage country and service is not as robust. Just be prepared to read books, have a campfire, play board games, or watch DVDs for entertainment.

We like the location. We like that its pet friendly though we paid for it.

Its too expensive for the 2 night stay and for us to pay for our pet stay on top of our stay is too much. It looks like we paid for the location and not the cottage and the amenities.
