The bed was comfortable.

We were placed in a room requiring three or four different stairwells to access the room. No elevator. Impossible to use a luggage trolly. It was evident — and perhaps because we did not use the hotel’s site to book — we were given a room in the worst part of the hotel. In fact, we were assured that the next time we come (if we EVER come back to this hotel) this older part of the hotel will be demolished. It’s that bad.

There was no breakfast included in our stay, but we had a fridge in each room so we brought breakfast food and ate it in the room. The pool was superb and the atrium lovely! And so was the staff!

Breakfast not included and no hot tub - but we can’t have it all!

The staff was very rude and not interested in having employment.

The room was very clean and fresh. Had plenty of room for everyone. I asked for a crib for the little one and that was provided. The beds are very, very comfortable and got good night sleeps... We ate breakfast 2 mornings there and they were very good and a load of variety. The main reason for the stay was to use the pool for my granddaughter and you get a double thumbs up for that!!!! She loved it...

I liked the pool and it was a super breakfast.

No bottles of water in the bedroom. Too long a walk to room 303.

Le petit déjeuner était complet dans les choux proposés au buffet. Nous avons aussi pris le repas du soir à la taverne de l’hôtel et c’était aussi très bon. La chambre était très propre et ça sentait bin. Le lit et les oreillers confortables.

I was charged $275 for a smoking fee. No one smoked in the room.

Gym equipment is terrible, staff unhelpful, charging an exorbitant amount for what should be a free breakfast. First room smelled awful, changed to another room and had double beds instead of king that was paid for. No help in changing again.

The location of hotel was very good. Easy walk to down town Burlington. Loved the warm cookies at check in. Staff at reception were very help. During our stay there was a fire evacuation at about 11 pm. Rather chaotic as to be expected. Maintenance staff did a great job helping guests. Pity hotel didn't post something the next morning thanks guests for their cooperation.

The temperature in breakfast and restaurant areas was cold not chilled. Uncomfortable to sit for long in either area. Hotel is on the large size, so you might have to walk a bit to get to your room. Rather expensive for overall feel of hotel.

clean room, comfortable bed, soundproof room and quiet floor (top floor)- the atrium gave the hotel a really clean feel, it’s easy to walk downtown from the doubletree without having to deal with downtown traffic- really enjoyed the stay here, front desk was great!!

could be improved: the towels hadn’t been restocked in the room, garbage cans had no plastic liners, there was only one roll of toilet paper which was almost out, the room didn’t have a microwave, pool had too much chlorine, breakfast option at the hotel was $18 so we went elsewhere for breakfast

Location is great . The staff was great and rooms are clean parking was awesome. Key cards and security was great

Room 305 The bed was sloped the wrong direction head was lower than feet . Shower drain is gross below the cover /grate The doors all slam when some one leaves or arrives you can hear all doors in hallways slam ( recomend soft closures )

The staff was welcoming and professional The beds were very comfortable The breakfast in the atrium was good and priced fairly. The food in the restaurant offered something for everyone. The wait staff were friendly, attentive and efficient.

The bathroom was on the older side. There was mold in the grout. The carpet was old and warned in spots..

Room cleaning didn't happen as the staff showed up at 5pm (after we had been out all day and just came back to shower for dinner) to try to clean the room. Our hairdryer in the room was broken, which happens, however, we went to the desk to get a new one and they did not have one. Said they would find one and bring it up and never did.
