It was pretty cool (& unintentional) that we booked THE room used to film S1E1 in the Netflix show Outer Banks. The view was gorgeous. There's a walking/biking trail behind the inn as well as a clean pool & a little private dock for inn customers only. You can also grill out if you wanted. We didn't get a chance to check out the breakfast provided but there are several yummy restaurants nearby that were amazing. Also the AC was coooooold & in this heat, that is important.
If you can't climb stairs, this place is not for you. The stairs get slick if it rains. Also the shutters on the window looked like they hadn't been wiped down since JJ & John B climbed out of them. The floors were also not super clean. You definitely get what you pay for & sometimes that's not a bad thing. We still enjoyed our time.

I liked that it was only 30
minutes away from downtown and the beach. Staff was very wonderful.
I didn’t like our keys kept getting deactivated. Happened twice in our 3 night stay. I was getting married while we were staying so our keys deactivating was very annoying. We made sure to keep them away from any cards and our phones. Then the front desk needed me personally to reactivate them. Which was annoying because there were other people in my room with keys deactivating.
