Holiday Inn Express - Wilmington North - Brandywine by IHG

The property was nice. The location was perfect for our needs. the breakfast was good.

It was located close to a road, a lot of road noise at night. The elevator was very sketchy. There was a sign stating it was safe. We opted to not use it after a scare of it getting stuck and unable to open the doors.

The location of the Hotel was good, coffee was available in the lobby at all times and it was very good. Tea bags and hot chocolate as well as Lemon water were also available in the Lobby at all times. The desk employee was very nice when I checked in. The breakfasts offered were very good with a good selection of items to choose from. The Orange Juice was very good. I also like the safe in the closet that was very easy to use.

The printer for the Computer wasn't working when I tried to print my boarding pass. There wasn't a sign on the guest computer or printer to warn guests. The elevator seemed to be having problems and I saw guests having issues with it a lot and was afraid someone would get stuck in it. The night desk clerk said it was because people pushed the buttons too hard but they should fix it. I didn't like that there weren't any coffee makers in the room and you would have to go down to the lobby to get coffee or hot water.

Location was great. Staff were excellent. Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable.

TV wasn't working on check in. After TV was reset and working only about half of channels that were supposed to be available were working. Elevator required resetting as a part was on order and the elevator would stop working.

Bed was comfortable 😌

The male desk person was rude.
