We really enjoyed our stay at Wingate. We did a no reservations road trip on a budget. For the money, Wingate wins so far.
The breakfast was not that great but the pancakes saved the morning.
The wallpaper when you get off the wall on the 2nd floor could use a touch up!!

Ease of making the reservation. Staff were friendly and helpful. Liked the decor of the room and dining area. Bedding was clean and warm. Thermostat worked and kept the room comfortable. Very quiet during the night. Liked the self-serve breakfast as it was warm and included sausage, eggs and biscuit. Coffee, toaster and pancakes were all available using a self-operated appliance. Unique.
Could see the flooring in the bathroom was loose. The toilet when flushed in the morning had a horrible squeal until the water in the sink was turned on.
