it was very close to where we were set to go (rosemont theatre) and it was also close to lots of little outlet store like burlington, dd’s and ross
the bathroom sink and shower would get clogged up really fast and the water pressure wasn’t too good, it came out way to harsh and hard, that was the only problem with our stay

Shuttle bus was appreciated
I paid 2.5x more for this hotel than the airport hotel I literally just left in Dallas a few nights before.
The price in Chicago is hugely inflated compared to Dallas and the quality of the comparable hotel in Dallas was higher. It was a very similar standard hotel but being less than half the price per night provided a considerably heightened value for money ratio.
I know this is maybe not on the hotel, I saw on Booking.com that ALL hotels in the Chicago area had much higher prices than even Manhattan hotels when I stayed in New York in April.
I dont know why that is but I just dont feel like I got value for money during this stay. Especially when I had a very similar stay just a few days before to compare it to.

Water pressure was good
Several bugs in the room
Room is very outdated
Carpet was not clean
The bed was squeaky
Pillows were completely flat
The whole area and room had terrible, sewer-like smell
