Our room wasn't quite ready, so we were upgraded to a Parlor Suite. We really appreciated the help from the staff!
We were there to attend an event. It was really convenient to walk from our room to the event.
The upgrade to the Parlor Suite was awesome (and appreciated), but the shower/bathroom in the Parlor Suite didn't live up to the rest of the room (seemed outdated).

Beautiful property with grounds and landscape
Room was hot Ac just was a fan and I told the front desk and nothing he said leave it and don’t move in the room just wait. Then I went back to front desk we can’t sleep it’s 74 all day. Then a guy came and fixed it said someone turned something off and still didn’t work

The breakfast was ok but overpriced. Very slow service but food tastes ok. Staff is friendly.

Staff was borderline rude and not interested. Indoor pool was out of commission for a day and it was raining so we asked when they thought it would be fixed. They seemed annoyed that we asked and they were dismissive.
Food at main restaurant, breakfast was terrible.

Restaurant is a bit expensive. But excellent food. Walking paths could be re-paved.

We went out for Breakfast, and coffee there were no options on the property to get something quick. We tried to stay for dinner but were told we could not due to catering and large dinner parties.
The rates have increased for room $449. and golf $357 for me and my sons. I am a rewards member and was surprised that there was no discount.

it’s impressive and welcoming for large groups.
checkin was a nightmare. I had prepaid and they had trouble with the system.
The place was rambling and overrun with weddings and their guests golf was also apparent.
self parking was bad, as valet was prioritized it probably didn’t help that it rained a lot and the parking was a long way away.

The property was clean, the staff were so nice, rooms were excellent. We ate at the restaurant and food and drinks were great.
The beds are too close to the door.

Location of this hotel is great if you golf, a little far from the wedding venue we used
A little pricey for more than one night however large clean comfortable rooms

I know the hotel is old historically but some rooms are really far from elevators, of course there is stairway access
Outside pool closed at our stay but would have been nice to have tables out there to sit at

Location, friendly, staff, excepting pets, and having an indoor pool with a gym on site I was a plus.
We ordered a sandwich which was great, but the chicken wings not so much. We ordered dry wings and they were a little greasy and had no flavor.

The campfire and friendly greetings from the staff
There was a wedding and their was a lot of noise on the floor and doors banging opening and closing. There were also dirty stains on the sheets that we had to remove from the bed

It's a beautiful hotel. The staff is friendly and the food was delicious. The room was perfect and the bed was extremely comfortable. We have booked our next stay there already.
It was a little expensive. This time of year they should be offering deals.

Everything was great, bed comfortable and room very clean
There was no counter space at all in bathroom. No place to put any toiletries, very awkward.

The bathroom was a major disappointment. there was no place to put our toiletries except on the floor. there were no shelves, and the sink did not have room for them. very disappointing for the price.
