The hotel reminded me of my teenage rock concert going years! Super cool knowing so many rock legends stayed there! David Bowie, Kurt Cobain, RHCP, Pearl Jam and more! Love that they allow pets and even have a small area to walk your dog! The room was very spacious, the sheets clean and the pool and its area also very clean! The hotel is centrally located and some of the tourist attractions are in a walkable distance. The on sight parking was wonderful! The staff is super nice and very helpful!
The main issue is the hotel is in the Tenderloin district and is surrounded by homeless people and drug addicts-they are everywhere and the streets smell of urine and there are feces in the streets! It’s just super sad! We had no issues with them though and the hotel is in an enclosed area so it’s very safe!
