I'm a fan of water and sunrises/sunsets. We loved the location of the room with a view of the water. We got up early to watch the sunrise. We did not have time to enjoy the water because we were in town for a funeral. The staff was exceptionally nice and accommodating. The lady at the desk arranged a better room for us. The gentlemen who were either construction or housekeeping offered to assist with bags and "whatever we needed" every time we saw them.
I know it's an older hotel and it appeared as if some upgrading was occurring in other places, but our room did need some updates. Namely, the toilet is very low, like a child's toilet. I may not have noticed but I had knee surgery recently.
