Double room was a good size/spacious.
Ice machine on one level was broken. Room had a weird smell.

Very kind and accommodating staff (shout out to Captain!), warm cookies, easy parking, clean room, comfortable bed.
The only drawback was that the walls were a little thin so the room wasn’t as quiet as it could have been, but running the AC fan helped a lot

Booked a room on Booking.com at the price listed plus taxes. No mention of additional fees.
Arrive at hotel, check in and pay: "Oh, there's a $40 fee for "incidentals" plus $50 to park overnight".
I vote with my feet - won't be back.
I suppose I must also consider whether Booking.com is complicit. They have to know this isn't the first time.
I'm tired of being lied to by hotels and booking agencies.
If the fees had totaled only $5, it would still be dishonorable to hide them until it is too late to cancel the booking.
