Hollywood Stars Inn

The best thing was the location on Sunset Boulevard, three blocks from the Hollywood/Western subway station, across the street from a bus stop, right next to a Walgreens, and diagonally across from a Target. Not an upscale area, but it's OK. By bus or subway, you're not far from the main sights of Hollywood. The room was quite big, had a long shelf / bench under the TV convenient for putting your things, plus a fridge and table with two chairs. The bed was fine, the bathroom was OK. There was hot water available next to the reception. There's no breakfast offered, so we went every morning by bus to a Denny's further west on Sunset with excellent, good-value breakfasts.

The room wasn't very cosy, maybe because of the large size and the wooden floor - wall-to-wall carpeting might be nice. Also the lighting could be a factor - the area with the TV and long shelf was kind of dark, and lights next to the bed, on each side, would be good. The view from the window was of a wall and some plants, but that's no big deal.

Great location, easy parking, spacious rooms.

The room absolutely stank of bleach and there was someone else’s hair in the bathroom. Housekeeping took away my towels and didn’t replace them, and one staff member followed me out of the building one day and started lecturing me about needing to “be present in the moment”. I appreciate the sentiment, but not the delivery!

posizione ottima, personale gentile e accogliente. Ci hanno aiutato con il telefono per contattare quei disadattati di booking e ita airways. parcheggio Sul retro top anche se in alta stagione si rischia di rimanere senza. Abbiamo avuto qualche problema con lo scarico subito risolto.. Alla Barbieri vi do un consiglio, fate mettere almeno in una zona comune mini cucina fornello e microonde, anche una lavatrice e uno ferro da stiro in camera non sarebbe male almeno per noi Italiani

Posizione comoda per girare LA, parcheggio sul retro, frigo e ac in camera

Posizione con molte persone disagiate (droga e senzatetto), pulizia non molto accurata, specie il bagno, odore persistente di candeggina dopo ogni pulizia. Policy anti fumo con cauzioni anche salate, peccato che il ricircolo dell'aria butti dentro al bagno della camera il fumo dei vicini...
