Hampton Inn & Suites St. Petersburg/Downtown

The staff went above and beyond every step of the way. From helping with handicap accommodations to a nicely stocked breakfast, they were top notch at anticipating our needs. This was the best hotel experience I have ever had.

The valet staff was very nice. The cleaning staff was very nice. The location was central to what we were doing in St. Pete.

When we first got to the hotel, it was really hard to get the cars parked with valet as valet was super backed up, and we had to drive around the block a few times. The person working the desk was rude and kept telling us they had no items like tea (that was out), shower caps. He told my child she had to come down to the front desk to get an extra blanket, made her go with him to the storage closet alone, and then handed the extra blanket, the storage room was next to our room on the third floor which he needed to unlock so her going down was not needed, and creepy. She is 12. Breakfast was not good, and there were limited healthy vegetarian options for my friend. The room did not smell clean, and was very cramped compared to the description.
