New Orleans Marriott

I was facing the city, nice view. I was in a suite, big and spacious with 2 bathrooms clean and neat.

There was a day, they didn’t come cleaned my room. I requested to clean before I went out, I was told the lady was coming. When I came back in the evening, the room was not clean, I have to request for clean towels to be sent to my room. I had an issue with an employee, an Asian guy that works at night. He was really rude and profiling me as a black person. I stayed in a suite, where there are two rooms with two entrances, 3103 & 3105. I went to the Asian receptionist that night, I forgot his name and explained to him only one of the keys worked and the other room did not worked. He asked for ID, I said I left it in the room but I have a picture on my phone. He refused to fix my card, he didn’t even want to check in the computer to verify my name. He said no ID, I can’t help you and I needed to get to my room. I was like, why don’t you activate the key, send someone with me so I can get the ID, and give me the card once they verified me. He was like no , he profiled me and gave me so much hard time and didn’t activated and the room was under my name. That was one of my worst experience, while I stay at Mariott every time I come to Nola.

Everything was great! My favorite place to stay but I can’t understand why I haven’t been receiving my points this is my 3rd time staying here

Location is great and the upgraded rooms are a good surprise as we’ve stayed here before.

The drop ceiling in the bathroom is not ideal for tall people and there is no bathroom fan. Also? The room wasn’t fully cleaned when we arrived. Tape on the drapes from a previous guest and a random wet stain on the floor (only found this out after stepping in it)

LOCATION OF THE HOTEL, THE MAID WAS EXTREMELY NICE AND THOUGTFUL,

THERE WERE NO ENTERTAINMENT WITHIN THE HOTEL , NO CULTURE. THIS HOTEL WAS JUST PLAIN AND MORE FOR BUSINESS MEETING.
