Very nice rooms, and great location in Portsmouth.

There was nothing to dislike about this hotel.

Room service. Had to request towels and wash cloths daily.

Everything was wonderful.

Hotel was cheap everything. All interior fixtures pealing & warn. Water pressure in shower was terrible. Mattress very uncomfortable & hard. Cleaning service never came in 4 days, we had to ask for clean towels every time. Oh and hot tub not working. 🤣 but the gym was nice, clean and quiet.

The new renovations

some of the staff were funny acting bathroom was dirty carpet was dirty thermostat wasn’t working properly They tried to move me to another room but the floor was ripped bugs where in the bathroom

really nice hotel

the staff is absolutely terrible. 3 night stay, never cleaned the room. asked for cleaning service twice every day, then I had to carry my own towels up to my room every night. don’t waste your money

Nice clean place with a wonderful view.

Coffee machine in the lobby did not work.

The view from my room was the best part of my stay and the staff was excellent. Always a good vibe of happiness every day from the front door to the front desk very welcoming. Never made it to the pool area but the pictures were another reason why I chose the Renaissance lakefront hotel. So many places to walk to a tour and food of all cuisines. And to top it all off this great hotel put me right at my son's shipyard. Now how great is that. Thanks Renaissance lakefront hotel staff and management team job very well done until my next visit God bless

That there was so much to do I never make it to the hotel pool lol but I don't regret a thing I shall return to the Renaissance lakefront hotel again matter of fact every time I go to Portsmouth Virginia this is where I must stay.
