Fantastic stay. Beautiful property with so much history. Staff were lovely and location super central. Loved even sitting the fire in the lobby. Breakfast was first rate as were the hotel employees and wait staff.

The property is beautiful and well taken care of. It’s clean and has an upscale feel.
Unfortunately, our room… even though being a penthouse, we were next to some electrical machine that kept making a noise that interrupted our quite night and kept us from being able to open the windows and enjoy the cool breeze. Even with the windows being closed, we could still hear whatever noise that was.

The hotel has an amazing classic feel and elegance to it.
The first room I received was dirty (someone’s hair all over the bathroom floor, stains on the carpet and bedding). Ended up complaining and being moved to a suite, when staff was making the sofa bed, they discovered used/dirty linens already on the mattress. Outside of the hotel (a Portland city problem)it’s pretty disgusting with the homeless prowling the sidewalks defecating on the streets and open drug usage, which was concerning with my children accompanying me on the vacation.
