Very friendly, helpful staff. Clean rooms. Clean grounds.
For $50 less per night, our second cottage was very small.

Cottages on River Road was the perfect place for exploring the Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve and the nearby coast. The cottage was spacious and comfortable for my husband, my adult son, and me. The grounds were spectacular, beautifully landscaped, and perfectly lit at night. The resident cat had their own little cottage, which could not have been more adorable. The firepit with the s'more fixings was absolutely delightful with a friendly crowd. This place was perfect. Highly recommend.
Nothing.

The evening fire and s'mores were a big hit. They have a nice breakfast as well.
Black mold in bathroom and a burned out light in bedroom. Mentioned both to the staff and they promised to deal with them.

Beautiful grounds nestled in to the trees that are well maintained. The staff were all very courteous, friendly and efficient. Truly a continental breakfast that was of excellent quality with a great variety of options.
Lightning in the room was a little too bright.
