Very clean
Muffins, coffee, juice was all they had.

It was the 1st time breakfast was considered to be a small muffin and juice. Of course coffee was served.

right at this time how to get in we were lucky we knew the back way in someone not familiar with the area would not be able to fine the entrance all due to Road construction

Not much that I liked. I was very disappointed in certain things about the room.
The air conditioning would rev up real loud and then be extremely loud when it's shut down like a lawn mower shutting down that went on all night long and it wasn't just mine it was everybody on that side. The alarm clock you cannot set the minutes on it you could set the hour but not the minute. There were two bugs of some kind in the room that I had to get out of the room the refrigerator did not have a freezer and had a very small TV maybe a 32 inch could have even been a 27 inch. I was quite disappointed because I had stayed there before and it was nice but I got put on the side towards the street with all the construction and I wasn't real fond of that. I think it'll be a while before I stay at a Days Inn again.

It was absolutely great for the price and has a lot.
There was a little off smell, the ac struggled a little, but can't really complain for what we paid

The front desk staff was nice.
The road right in front of the motel was torn up and under construction. We did not know this until we arrived.

The room was immaculately clean.
When we checked in the clerk was great and he got us in our room quickly. The room was cool when we went in but got really warm that evening. I tend to like it cooler and guessed that my wife had turned the ac down. The next night was miserable. The ac was OBVIOUSLY not working so I stopped at the front desk to let them know. I was told “welcome to Texas that’s just how it works.” I’m from Texas. I spend dozens of nights in hotels across the US and especially Texas. No, this is NOT how it works. Needless to say no one checked the ac. So after spending 3 days in 90°+ heat we spent 3 nights in a room without ac. That’s NOT how it works in Texas, just this Days Inn.
