It was clean and away from the highway

The front desk lady wasn’t very welcoming and the walls are very thin, hearing every conversation and movements all around. Making it hard to sleep.

Everything stuff was amazing and helpful when it came to places to eat

First walked in could smell lingering scent of marijuana. We were in town for soccer tournament, asked guy working desk what would happen if we lost the first game and didn’t need rest of reservation, he was quick to say u would pay anyway, he was a jerk, girl that just came on duty was sweet and said she would contact manager of the situation occurred to get extra night taking off. Went to room we upgraded to queen suite, floors were dirty, sheets were stained, best part no bedbugs. Bed was best part super comfy.

Comfortable beds and good location close to lots of restaurants and not far from New River Gorge areas. Clean .

The staff was ok but not overly friendly. Lots of construction guys hanging out in the lobby eating and watching football just seemed not quite and pleasant place to be. Our room was clean but very small. Hallway smelled of cigarette smoke even though it was supposed to be non smoking. Very noisy all throughout the night. Breakfast not very good but typical continental hotel breakfast.

The staff was excellent! The room was a great size, and everything was clean. I liked having the Dollar General right next to the facility.

Breakfast is not diabetic-friendly; it was all starch-based. The other guests, although nice they were not respectful of the other guests: large groups gathering in the hallway with music and loud talking from the room next to me. They kept their door open; at one point, I walked by and someone was taking a shower while the room door was open.

Have stayed here many times. Price, location and pet friendly along with comfortable beds reason for our returns.

This time upon arrival at 7:15 pm, we were told “your room isn’t cleaned yet, bring your bags in and have a seat, I’ll call you when your room is ready”. After an hour I asked a gentleman who was waiting for his room when we arrived, “how long have you been waiting”. He replied, “what day is it?” HE told us (not staff) that the cleaning people did not show up. After sitting, with our dog in the waiting area, We finally got in our room at 10:15pm.

Room and facilities were clean and fairly well maintained. Everything worked as it should. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Price was a real bargain.

Breakfast was a bit sparce. Only items were sweet 2 "kids" cereals, some plain bagels with no butter or cream cheese, and waffles. No Decaf coffee.

The staff was very good, and very helpful.

Pillows were way too soft, bathroom fixtures, towel rack and shower rod were in danger of pulling out of the wall. The mattress sagged, so my wife slept on the floor using the window cover as the mattress.

Breakfast(waffles and muffins) we’re good.

There was supposed to be a heated indoor pool and I called twice before our stay to make sure it was working. I was told it was.When we got there and tried to use it, we walked into a freezing cold dirty enclosed room with a freezing cold pool with 3 space heaters near a very dirty bathroom. The heaters were not on and had big paper signs that read “do not turn on.” When I asked the front desk employee about it, she just kind of shrugged it off saying they couldn’t get it to stay warm. Our room phone didn’t work, had no dial tone, was busted with holes in it. I realized this when I went to call the front desk to ask for help with our tv because it wouldn’t work. So I walked to front desk to ask for help. When I told front desk employee she just shrugged and said “yea, well. “ She did walk down to room to help get tv to work. The ac/heat did not work correctly and our room was very stuffy and hot as well as very smelly. It had a strong musty smell. We will never stay here again.
