The staff were great. Check in was easy. Plenty of restaurants nearby. It's an older building but we had a clean room and the mattress was great. How quickly management fixed the chirping in the next room when a smoke detector decided to go bad.
In the room next to us, the smoke detector was chirping. We let the front desk know and the manager on duty immediately came and fixed the issue. It was quickly fixed. Some of the other guests outside were loud for awhile but since I am a night shift nurse, I was up for awhile reading and it was just after midnight they got quiet. Problem was fixed.

The hotel is close to nearby restaurants. I could literally walk nextdoor to the new Longhorn Steakhouse they added in Orangeburg.
The room I stayed in had a loose toilet seat.

Maybe because we were sooo exhausted...the sleep was sooooo good...best I have had in a very long time....and loveedd that the room was cleaned everyday.......that's it!!!
Staff some what rude....and did not inform us of everything...hardly any staff available.....
Internet pictures were very deceiving
Toilet didn't flush ...had to fill old rust trashcan with water to flush.....shower had huge Crack in it....room door didn't close properly....and never ever enough towels left in bathroom....nor toilet paper.....smh
