I liked that it was within walking distance to a few restaurants
It was overpriced for what it was. Just a basic room. Someone was smoking pot outside when we walked back from dinner. Some of the staff were very nice and helpful and some not as much.

Gute Zimmer mit bequemen Betten. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Das Frühstück ist halt Amerikanisch, für uns Deutsche nicht so toll. Aber ansonsten zu empfehlen das Hotel.

I wonder if they appropriately rotate where they place guests. Because the room is clean. But the refrigerator in the room didn't work even though it was plugged in and turned on high. And the bed, both beds were allergen city. I tried sleeping with my nose plugged after realizing I was having some kind of irritation allergy reactions whatever is on the sheets. Part of me is now believing like maybe no one has stayed in that room for a bit which is why they didn't notice but the fridge didn't work or maybe dust had settled on both beds in a thin coat or whatever tiny mites live underneath pillows. But whatever it was I felt like I was having an immediate mild all over body reaction. I really had no other options so I use the towels to like barricade the scent of the pillow from directly being inhaled by my nose so I could breathe and fall asleep at the same time while still secreting running liquid from my nostrils. This is why I have to leave as negative a rating as I have to. Everything else about the room besides the things that didn't work or great but those unfortunately are like the main things I was looking for in renting a hotel room. A place to sleep that didn't seem like it was trying to kill me and a cool place to store overnight food without having to use the trash can ice bucket to put in the fridge. My blueberries still molded.

Location was great. Staff was pleasant.
One light was not working nor was the alarm clock plugged in. The shower had two shampoos and no conditioners. The hvac could only blow warm air on high or auto-ish.

When I arrive there was a lot of traffic for the time of night it was. It made a tab bit skeptical at first.

I booked 4 days. for two days I was unable to shower. The shower rod fell off and I had to keep going back and asking for someone to please fix it so I could shower eventually they did and it’s all right back down. I asked if I can get another room and was told only if I switched from a king to a standard and I told them I didn’t pay for a standard I paid for a king so after day two they finally put me in a different room so for two days I could not shower and I was there for a wedding and I had to go out with these people and showered, and it was gross

Ice was not available on my floor. That is when I discovered that the other 2 floors I went to in order to get ice also smelled heavily of marijuana. It was so strong my room had the odor coming in from beneath the door.

It was not expensive and staff was friendly
We were booked on the first floor, and the room still smelled musty from last year’s flooding. We stayed 2 nights and they never cleaned the room or replaced linens and coffee we needed. We had to ask for towels when we returned that night. By 7:30am the coffee pot at breakfast was empty and there were no bagels and barely any bread.

The location
The General Manager is very forgetful when it comes to having things sent out room. I had the call and visit the front deck 4 times. so I just walked to the laundry/room service room and grab towels. Them GM is very lazy.

The check-in and check-out were super easy and quick. The room was clean and quite big and the beds comfortable. Since we were traveling by car, the place was easy to reach (directly off I-95) and parking was quite a lot of parking available.
The breakfast was messy and the space tiny. There was no staff to be seen and nothing got refreshed or cleaned up during breakfast. The whole area felt like a hospital canteen to be honest. On the second morning we got disturbed twice by housekeeping, even though we had put up the "do not disturb sign". In my opinion, the staff does not really care about working there or the facilities. They withdraw so much that one morning I had to let them know someone wanted to check out or no one would have noticed. Maybe I see this more critically than other guests, since I work in the same industry, but something like this should not happen.

Mini fridge did not work. There was not enough available for breakfast when we went to eat.

Bathroom was old and had mold on walls. There was embedded dirt in corners in molding. Very old and in need of renovation. No attempt to clean will ever address.

This hotel is very good in terms of location, parking, value, cleanness, and breakfast, so on. But its management has big problems, especially its check in service is so bad - the staff is cold and rude!!
