Lompoc Valley Inn and Suites

Clean, big rooms with plenty of free parking. Breakfast was plentiful. Fairly close to Solvang. Some restaurants nearby that are open late. Location has pool with towels. Staff is friendly. Hotel is quiet. Nice view of the small airport from the stair balcony. Better than expected considering some reviewers said it was dated. I think the rooms were comfortable and great. Good hot showers.

I called in advance to find out if it's a heated pool. They said that the pool was heated. Otherwise, I would have changed my location. Swimming pool was freezing especially since Lompoc is much cooler, cloudier than Solvang by alot. We were there in the summer and it was a very hot day in Solvang but as we arrived in Lompoc it's noticeably windy on average and temps are cooler. We asked if they could turn on the pool heater and was told no. They said they don't turn on the heater when it's cold. It didn't make sense. Especially when I called the day before arriving if the pool was heated and I was told yes the day before. We specifically choose a place with a heated pool for the kids and unfortunately we didn't use the pool for very long and some of us didn't bother to get in.

I enjoyed how cleaned and kept everything up to date in the rooms and even the parts where it looked like it was falling apart was cleaned good.

The property was in poor condition due to the broken elevator and hot tub and the pool wasn’t as clean as it should of been

We didnt have time to have breakfast.

The bathroom tub filled up with water, the cooler was between cold and warm, the hot tub was closed, there was no pool towels the days we there.
