The Econolodge near the Portland airport has very friendly staff that works hard to make you feel comfortable! They keep the rooms clean and listen to any concerns you may have and try to help you the best that they can! I have always felt safe and taken care of when staying here for business.

The location is not The Best in town, definitely better than most places on Sandy Blvd. If you were coming from out of town, know that there is a large homeless population in the area and you will see signs of drugs and prostitution in the neighborhood, but the Econo Lodge is clean. Don’t leave belongings in cars, but that goes for almost anywhere in Portland. The neighborhood is a little ran down. But unless you’re going walking out on the main drag of Sandy Blvd Late at night, no one will bother you (and even then it might be somebody offering you money because they think you’re a working girl), but it’s pretty safe. I stay here as a single woman all the time when traveling for work and have never had any problems. The transit center is right across the street. Easy access to the highways to get anywhere in the Portland area or to travel north south east or west out of Portland. The airport is one exit down. Truly worth the little extra money, than staying at a motel six or budget inn or something like that in the area.

They were changing the locks on the hotel room doors while people were staying in the rooms They had a small sign on front door notifying clientele Lady at front desk didnt say anything about locks being changed when checking in They should have waited until customer checked out of room.

Only 13 miles from Kings Beach. Although the breakfast is listed as continental, they also had pancakes, waffles, cheese omelettes, bacon and the normal continental muffins, English muffins, cereals, fruits, juices, milk and a luxury coffee machine. Room was very clean and comfortable.

Inconvenience for my last minutes reservation. however, first room that was given to me I did not satisfied due to the smell of cigarettes and weeds. From Rome 212 to 214.
