The Hamlet Inn is a lovely quaint property just off the Montauk Highway. Conveniently located to our family and the beach had good places to eat.
The room was small, but comfortable, the bed was great . The staff was great and super friendly, water was provided in the room, snacks coffee and hot tea was always available.
The bathroom felt cramped, there was no ventilation. This is where the property showed its age, but it was still user-friendly

The big garden, sitting outside for breakfast! Great coffee! Denise was very accommodating.
The only thing could be better is: let some fresh air blow through the rooms after the guests instead of spraying some room freshener. It took a whole night with wide open windows to get that scent out.

Stayed just after the labor day weekend. Great location with just the right amount of driving to all the main Southampton spots. Good decent rooms for the price paid, dont expect any fancy shoomzy stuff. Free parking, the main hostess at the reception can provide top notch tips and hidden gems.
Highlight is the free beach passes to soak-in all the Southampton beaches.
Free coffee and bites in the reception.
Verdict - Highly recommend for budget conscious folks and would definitely come back if visiting Southampton.
Everything was good - wish they could provide beach chairs - either free or a small fee.

Great location to explore the Hamptons. The host was great and exceptionally helpful and friendly
The property is overall really dated and the rooms were very humid. The common areas could have used some deep cleaning
