The price and the bed
TV didn't work with the remote

Owners live on property so you don't have junkie riff raff tweaking on the property at all hours like other budget establishments in the Portland area. Bathroom was new and a modern design.
It is an old property with old sheets, blankets and other bedding. Furnishings have seen better days.

The beds were comfortable and the room spacious.
The carpet and bed spread were very dirty. The free WiFi didn’t work.

It’s….a bed and a shower. So there’s that.
Unusably bad WiFi; lack of parking; filthy rooms; electrical outlets worn out; no housekeeping service.

Though I booked a nonsmoking room but the room smelled smoky. Broken sink.

You get what you pay for, basic cheap motel on 82nd. Facilities were fine, a couple lamps didn’t work and the carpet was stained with what looked like old blood. But nobody broke in and raped/robbed/murdered me, so that was good.

The receptionist came into our room to show us how to use the TV remote.
