Great motel! Looks newly renovated. Simple set up and clean. Perfect for a nights stay (as I did). There was a hiccup when I couldn't lock the door with the deadbolt but it was fixed within 10 minutes after I told the front desk. As a solo traveler, I felt safe. Close to restaurants, shopping and the lake!
I wasn't a fan of the glass blocks as the window in the bathroom which faced the parking lot. There was 1 main light that turned on with a switch...it wasn't very bright but there were lights on either side of the bed. I couldn't get the room as cold as I preferred. Don't know why.

Location was great. The shuttle bus for the Blueberry festival in South Haven was very close. It was also very close to a great restaurant ( the Lodge ). The staff was helpful.
Not crazy about sharing a door to the adjoining room. Continental breakfast very limited.
