Magnuson Hotel Ironwood

The man who was the maintenance man(?) was absolutely wonderful. He held doors, made recommendations for a restaurant, and was pleasant in every way

I really dislike INTENSELY doing g business with a kiosk. I wish there were a public bathroom

Check in was fairly easy & my room was next to the lobby & entrance door. That was great for unloading & loading the car. The shower was comfortably hot & the fridge comfortably cold.

I did expect some kind of breakfast besides coffee. I don't drink coffee so I was looking for juice. None to be had. Would've appreciated a piece of toast, a piece of fruit or a bowl of cereal.

It was easy to find and clean.

The whole facility was a bit shabby. I was ok with the clerk being a vid screen. But the guy, on the screen quibbled about the two beds i booked and said he had upgraded us to one king bed. He insisted it was booking.com's issue. I checked my confirmation and it cagily said that i had booked a room, not what kind. I have probably booked fifty hotel rooms on booking and they always say what kind of room you booked or how many beds minimum. I travel with my son so one bed was a no go!

Shower was nice and hot, had great water pressure coffee station had a good selection

Room had a strong odor of mold, strange check in with a virtual kiosk,
