The View was amazing and we loved the decor where we stayed.
It seems we were a bit between seasons and a lot of stuff in the area was closed. It was too cool for many water activities, Autumn leaves had not appeared and it was too early for snow activities.

We loved the access to the lake with paddle boards, kayaks, etc. It is walking distance to the restaurants and bars in town. The hotel has a game room with Foosball and a pool table overlooking the Lake. Each day my wife and I did a walk around the lovely lake. We want to come back to do a 10 mile bike path between Lake Placid and Saranac Lake.

The view
At check-in the receptionist gave us the further away room, the last one , at the tar end of the building. Mind you, the hotel was EMPTY!!!!
