Pacific City Inn

Probably one of the most comfortable mattresses I've ever slept on in a motel of any price. Ours was a very short stay so did not get to utilize the location amentias at all. For basically a place to sleep for the night, it fit the bill perfectly.

The TV offerings left much to be desired. There is a definite old school feel (think 50's beach motel, but that's what it is).

Jeff was very helpful. Backyard was nice.

Location on busy street.

Being a little further from the beach it’s just off the beaten path enough to avoid the throngs, but still within easy walking distance. One stays here not for the views, but for the access at less expense. The bed and linens are superb and the facility is clean. The highlight of our stay was the owner. Matt was genuinely friendly and gave us a handmade map with a rundown of what local businesses had to offer. This gave us a chance to enjoy the locals in a favorite pub for a surprisingly good meal. Breakfast just down the road was delicious too. It was in a little place I might not have gone into based on its lack of curb appeal, proving the point about not judging a book by its cover.

Location is great. No breakfast. I booked 8 nights. When I get there he says he has to move me around to different rooms for the week . I said hell no. 1 room or I walk. He accommodated me. Ridiculous. He's cool. The booking service was not.

It's old and noisy. People come in late and it sounds like a freight train coming up the stairs. The post office next door gets it's mail delivery at 4:am or so every day. It's louder then hell. Who needs an alarm clock with that B S. Way over priced. The ice machine is behind the front office desk. You have to request it. Ridiculous etc.
