Quiet, cute property. The bartender, Chips, was so friendly. Beautiful pool area. Rooms were very nice. Clean, comfortable, and spacious.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the service was excellent. The food, wine and service in the restaurant exceeded my expectations. The food was cooked to order perfectly, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the wine offerings were very good local wines. The bar even had a non-alcoholic beer offering, which few places serve. The room rate was reasonable, the room was quiet, and the location was close to everything we needed. We were very impressed with the quality of the service we received throughout our stay.

Overall the hotel is worn and dated and needs refurbishing. The room was carpeted with a spongy underlayment, and the carpet was not in great condition, including having a wave in it. The furniture in the room looked over-used as if it were picked up at a garage sale. Although we booked as a couple, there was only one bath towel in the room, and one wash cloth. Fortunately, we were able to use one of the pool towels we borrowed in the lobby when we arrived. We picked them up when we checked in, thinking we were going to be able to use the jacuzzi for a soak in the evening. However, when we went to the pool (which we were warned was unheated), there were signs up saying the jacuzzi jets were broken. The advertising boasts a fitness center, but there is no onsite fitness center. There is an affiliated fitness center somewhere around the corner and you need to pick up a voucher int he lobby to use it. There were no movie channels available on the T.V., which our call to the front desk confirmed, and no instructions in the room on how to use the T.V. The room felt hot an humid but we did not want the noise of the AC on at night. The bed was too soft and hurt my husband's back. There is no elevator. There was what appeared to be the stuck-on remnants of a bird strike or kill on the upstairs walk-way that had never been cleaned off. The checkout time is at noon, which is great, but breakfast is only served between 5 a.m. and 9 a.m. which makes it hard to grab a workout and get cleaned up and into the restaurant for breakfast before it closes.

The hotel is too old, need update.
