The location proximity to the Volcano National Park and the atmosphere and frogs singing at night.

Nice location, nested in nature. Very close to the volcano. Exceptional service.
The lodge was humid and a bit smelly. Lacking storage space.

The property itself is beautiful! It’s quiet and it’s pretty cool throughout the day.

Wanted something close to Volcano (and half way between Kona and Hilo) so it suited our needs. Breakfast was apples, instant oat meal, dried biscotti - nothing special. Coffee/sugar/milk. Would not stay more than one night.
Place is a little run down. Bathroom was very small - could not even put down a wash kit. Bathroom mat was dirty. Not a comfortable place to stay.
