Ocean Park Inn

Buona struttura nei pressi di Santa Monica, prezzo un po' alto ma abbastanza nella media della zona. Patio carino. Camera non molto grande, noi la avevamo che si affacciava sull'interno e non sulla strada quindi non abbiamo avuto grossi problemi di rumori. Il parcheggio interno è gratuito, noi non abbiamo mai avuto difficoltà a trovarlo. Il quartiere è tranquillo ma noi ci siamo sempre mossi in macchina.

Non c'è colazione, c'è uno Starbucks a neanche 10 min a piedi. Per arrivare al Santa Monica Pier sono più di 30 minuti a piedi, ma ci sono vari parcheggi vicini che hanno un buon prezzo (consiglio Sp+ Parking 333 Civic Center Dr, Santa Monica).

Small rooms . No coffee making in rooms

The hotel was great for us after landing at nearby LAX and spending a couple of days near the beach area of Santa Monica/Venice these were about 15 min walk. Found a great cafe Tartine up the road.

Friendly staff, very clean room, free parking available (although this is on a first come, first serve basis and the car park is quite small). While LA is so large and spread out, the location was fairly central for the sights we wished to see and the area felt safe.

While clean, the interior of the room and especially the bathroom felt quite dated. It was also quite noisy, especially around the bedroom door however free ear plugs were provided. While free parking is advertised (and was one of the primary reasons we chose this property), the car park is very small and as parking is on a first come, first serve basis, it can be difficult to get a spot. As an alternative, on-street parking is available on Pine Street adjacent to the property, however this is metered and is only free between 18:00 - 09:00 (and on Sundays), so if you parked there at night you would have to be up early to move it in order to avoid charges. Our bedroom was on the upper mezzanine and there was no elevator which wasn’t ideal as we had heavy luggage with us.
