Location was amazing - across from the San Clemente Pier. There are walkable restaurants, but limited choices. Bed was cozy and the room was spacious.

There's a train stop across the street that can get loud. By day two, we were both used to it. Also, the lights outside are on all night which crept in between the curtains (I woke up in the middle of the night thinking it was dawn, but it wasn't). No breakfast. Both times I went to the office, I saw a "Back in 5 minutes" sign.

The location was perfect!

The review was correct about the sewerage smell. Not all of the time but we did have to use bottled water to brush our teeth. The main thing that bothered us is that you could hear every step the floor above us made. More like stomping during the night. It’s an old building so you have to consider that. But it is definitely right there in the perfect spot. I would stay there again!

Love the location, views, and staff. Love that there is parking available. Love that there are common deck areas with tables for all guests. The rooms are comfortable, not modern or fancy. Beds are comfortable and there is good (non carpet)flooring

I would like to have a microwave in the room. On our middle floor, the common deck area lights were so harsh & bright that it was hard to enjoy the wonderful area at night. It was also uncomfortably bright coming into our room when we slept.
