They charge extra for parking $10 dollars. While this is expected in the City of Chicago it is not the norm in the suburbs. Pillows were too flimsy Next time I will request new ones. The mall has a number of restaurants in walking distance Only one elevator if the hotel is busy may be an issue It was not during my stay.

We've stayed at this Hampton Inn in Mt. Prospect at least 4 different times over the past 4-5 years because it's very near my husband's family. And we like the fact that there are several restaurants nearby we enjoy as well as the AMC theaters.
Our room was at the far end from the elevator, and the one elevator from the lobby going up was not working.

The location is convenient, surrounded by plenty of shops, spas, and places to eat. The staff was friendly at check in and out. The free breakfast and coffee were also decent and appreciated to prepare for the cold day ahead.
Parking is okay, you have to pay an additional fee to park underground. When we approached the room, the door was damaged. As if someone had tried to punch/kick the door in and the hotel never bothered themselves to replace it. The beds were comfortable. The TV and its options for viewing were outdated. There was dust in the room and the door to the balcony was also broken.
