The hotel was close to town and convenient to either entrance of the National Park.
The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were helpful and friendly Nice view to wake up to each morning as well.

We had not planned a stay in
Estes Park so we just picked the best rated hotel in our price range and we were pleasantly surprised. It was clean, comfortable, had good A/C and internet. There was a better than average continental breakfast with a mountain view from the office/breakfast area. The location was on hwy 34 so we did not have to drive through downtown to get to RMNP. We did have to stop on the highway to allow a bull elk to leisurely cross the road and sightings are common around the hotel area.
I can't really think of anything but will mention the hotel and parking lot are on a slope and there are a couple of steps down to the ground level rooms and stairs to the upper level rooms.

Great location, and the front desk staff were wonderful.
Somehow we ended up with a pet-friendly room and didn't get a good night's sleep. However, I believe the other rooms would be much more comfortable.
