Hotel Garni

Einfaches aber sehr angenehmes Hotel Garni, sehr freundliche Menschen und tolle Lage zum Lift (quer über die Straße). Gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstück.

Geweldig ontbijt.

Nettes Personal und ein sehr schöner Ausblick vom Frühstücksraum.

Das Mobiliar und die Einrichtung sind schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen.

Location: 5 minutes walk to the Dorfbahn gondela, and directly above the supermarket and ski rental. Also enough restaurants at walking distance. Breakfast was okay: fresh bread of different types but I missed some variation in healthy spreads and there wasn't any fresh fruit. The duvets were typical Austrian: nice warm and fluffy and the mattress covers super soft. Mattress itself quite hard and bumpy though. The rooms were tidied every day, clothes folded and everything.

Very basic hotel, just rooms and a breakfast area. The rooms were quite old and very basic: no fridge, no mirror, no nice bed lights (only a bright fluorescent lighting directly above your head), no electric kettle. The bottom shelf closet wasn't cleaned (mud footsteps in it). The rooms were very noisy, I could hear the voices of our neighbours and from our bathroom I could actually have a conversation with them (from their bathroom). The hotel didn't provide any information about the weather or the ski area (all other hotels in Austria and France in ski areas provide that every morning, especially when there's a risk of a closed area like in our week there: the ski area was closed for two days: hotel had no information).
