Everything. Fantastic location, you can walk to main street and the beach. Beautiful grounds. Comfortable rooms, wonderful breakfast buffet. Great happy hour and cookies at the front desk in the evening. Best of all they are very accommodating to your 4 legged baby!
If there are loud children in the room next to you, you will hear them. Not the fault of the hotel. Just the way it goes sometimes.

This place is such a great value and an exceptional experience. The ambiance and hotel design were lovely. My room was aesthetically pleasing with all the amenities one might need. Breakfast beyond expectations - only comparable with some of those I have experienced at 5 star stays in Europe. The location was excellent - about 3 blocks off the beach and another couple blocks out of downtown Carmel. It was unassuming, and embodied comfortable, quiet elegance. I loved that it felt historic but not outdated. Staff was excellent. Will absolutely be back.

Everything the staff was great and accommodating breakfast was excellent and location was amazing. Grounds were really nice, saltwater pool was comfortable.
It was a little expensive but for a reason
