My room was perfect for my needs. After traveling for 6 days, it was nice to have a comfortable couch to sit on instead of sitting on a bed. The room was clean, as was the bathroom. Johanne greeted me as I checked in with a smile. She was courteous, professional, and efficient. The Doubletree was a perfect fit for my needs.

Too many youngsters on property and we skipped your breakfast due literally overcrowded breakfast area. Truly it was pathetic. This is a Hilton, you are running it like a Super 8, or Motel 6. Hilton Honors absolutely does not apply to this property.
First, there was literally NO CHAIR in room 537. I went to the front desk 3 times and notified both front desk clerks that we needed a chair (we were there for a funeral). No chair ever arrived.
As mentioned we were there for a funeral, we occupied 7 rooms, we all requested to be near the room of the Widow. Not one of our rooms was even on her floor, let alone close to her.
I realize this property has to make a profit, but bus loads of teens, running down halls, pushing other kids around on 5th floor on desk chairs, and banging on doors of paying guests is simply unacceptable. Hotel staff FINALLY about 10 pm, got “chaperones” stationed on floors 4 and 5, sitting on chairs, which finally got the kids under control. As mentioned above, this is a Hilton, we are Honors members, there for a funeral, this property may fly a Hilton Flag, but it lacks the quality management and dignity of why people choose Hilton rather than Comfort Inns. Picture of no chair room attached. In my opinion, Hilton stands for quality. You should be ashamed.

What you expect from a large chain hotel
Room could use a refresh

Very decent and convenient restaurant, coffee bar. Staff were great.
Shower door did not keep water in, flooding bathroom floor. (A design flaw--desk clerk didn't even ask our room # when I reported it.) One sink tap also leaked a bit. Neither of these is really my problem, but aesthetically, you know...
Might have enjoyed a soak in an actual tub if there'd been one.

not much.
There was a blood on the wall.
It was a family room, but they only had two cups and 3 bath towels.
No elevator and very far a way from the parking.

Room was nice. Seemed really clean.
Parking, no menus for in room dining online or in the room. Also the internet was terrible. The TV constantly lost internet.

Location
Rooms smelled. Some staff were snippy and rude. Heater was bad...very loud. House keeping came early am?

THE STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THE ROOM WAS LARGE WITH EVERYTHING WE NEEDED.
THERE WAS A SLIGHT LEAF IN THE CEILING ABOVE THE COFFEE MAKER. WE PUT A TRASH CAN UNDER IT AND NOTIFIED THE STAFF THE NEXT MORNING.

The front desk staff were helpful and polite.
It’s was dirty. Hotel was not prepared for the large group staying there that weekend. Trash was overflowing all the time. Service in the restaurant was very slow. Bathrooms were dirty. One with clogged toilets and blood on the floor.
My room was dirty. I cleaned the table tops and there was food on them. Phone and cradle the phone rests in was dirty in the corners. Never had enough towels.
There was a propane smell in the grand ballroom and it smelled and gave some headaches. Fire department said it was “safe”. Very dissapointed

The food in the restaurant was decent and we just ate light sandwiches as the price was ridiculous.
The feather pillows were not told to us ahead of time and my daughter had an allergic reaction. The hotel was obnoxiously noisy and it looked as thought kids were allowed to do anything they wanted as the lobby was full of football throwing kids and parents who were not spoken to at all. People were tailgating all around in the hotel and it was absurd.

there is nothing around the area, room wasn’t cleaned, most of the free shampoos and conditioners were empty. bed sheets felt damp.

It had a really nice restaurant and gym in addition to a small Starbucks.
The pool was small and way too crowded. The view over the rooftop and giant parking lot wasn’t appealing. The staff billed me double the rate I was supposed to receive; then I had to reach out twice for them to correct it.

The hotel had lots to do including water park full gym pool and eating inside. Definitely all inclusive for family.
Beds were uncomfortable and not much towels offered at check in including a broken tv in our larger deluxe room. The lighting was poor on upper floor rooms especially for my father’s room who can’t see well.

We enjoyed that it was close to Salem without being in the town. The hotel had things that were needed close by.
We mostly didn't like booking through booking.com. This was literally the worst experience. Save yourself a ton of money and energy and just book through the hotel directly. They say price matching but they won't. They won't even price match when their own website is 300 less than when you booked it. We payed almost the price of 2 hotel regular rate nights for the one that was booked through booking.com. When we sent the information to customer service they disappeared. First they kept asking for more information so they could look it up. We sent them screenshots of the booking price, the website and the total and they acted like it wasn't enough information, for them to check on their own website. We ended up canceling the rest of the booking.com reservation except the one day we weren't allowed to cancel and booked through the hotel and still saved over 200 dollars but we ended up having to move rooms during the trip because it was two seperate reservations. I'm going to start canceling our next hotel reservation from this site and look for alternatives so I can actually save money.

Rooms were outdated, bathrooms were gross, and in an isolated area of hotel. Coffee make in room did not work. Requested it to be fixed several times and it was not. Price was high for value of rooms. Breakfast was not included, advert is misleading. No discount for attached water park. Hotel pool was gross as well.

5 yr old granddaughter enjoyed the breakfast, the pool, the fanciness of the hotel. She enjoyed the water park.
The staff when checking in were not the friendliest but yet couldn’t do enough for two younger gentleman checking in next to me. The waitress at the lounge at dinner was slow and not very attentive.

We arrived to no bath towels. To me this is a bare minimum item to supply in a hotel room. Room furniture and shower seemed dated and worn.
