Beautiful, well maintained grounds with lush landscaping and winding paths. Spacious, comfortable, and luxurious room. Friendly and attentive staff. Excellent food and outdoor dining area with city and ocean views.

The staff was amazing! Every single person we interacted with from the second we got out of the car until we left went above and beyond! The grounds are beautiful. The views are incredible. The location is out of the hectic tourist spots so it’s very relaxing but also close enough to see everything in Santa Barbara. The room was spotless.
The rooms are outdated and tired. They could definitely use a refresh. But bed was comfortable and it was very clean.

The location and gardens
I had stayed at this hotel previously and thought the rooms beautiful but sadly the room I had this time was not up to expectations. The night of my arrival I wanted to have a bath and as I stood beside it to turn on the taps a side panel fell on to my foot.
A gentleman came to fix it but it happened again in the morning.
For breakfast I ordered a matcha latte and a croissant to the room but it took so long I went to the outside dining terrace and asked them to bring it to me there. When it arrived it was a cappuccino and not a matcha and the croissant was minuscule !!! For that I was charged $25 + taxes
