Gorgeous hotel. Felt relaxed as soon as we arrived. Room overlooked the pool and gardens with a lovely outdoor patio. Pool was very nice. Queen size beds were divinely soft, and room smartly furnished. Most importantly, the location is amazing - right on beach front in this charming town.
We booked this so our two kids could each have their own bed. The fold out sofa (third bed) was in a separate lounge area which was great, but it was shockingly uncomfortable - you could feel every spring. Needs a topper or similar.

The room was nice and clean. We were actually there for our 20th anniversary, I wish the hotel prepared something nice in the room 😀. Oh well!
Where our room was located, it was a bit noisy, there was a wedding one evening, people gathered early in the morning around from the beach and at the park.

The location is fabulous, just steps from the beach, the rooms are beautifully decorated with super comfortable beds & pillows. The pool and spa are clean and tidy. The hotel offers great amenities, roasting S’mores around the fire pits was a holiday highlight for our 4 year old son, and the free chocolate chip cookies are a lovely touch. We love our annual family summer holiday to Avila.

Gorgeous hotel, super friendly & helpful staff, fantastic room with amazing views! We will definitely be coming back!
