Location and views are excellent, clean beautiful rooms, quiet, staff was.very nice, the fireplace and 2 person whirlpool is great! Comfortable beds, we absolutely love staying here!

The weekend didn't last long enough!

View was amazing and loved the layout of the room. Nice large shower and fireplace as well as hot tub were relaxing and made it cozy!

Nothing negative really, parking is a little tight at entrance into the hotel and along first row when folks park crew cab trucks.

Loved the smaller size facility and location.

The bed was quite "saggy".

Beautiful location. The views were amazing.

No microwave in the room wanted to heat up my supper had to go down to Lobby. Remote control for TV was terrible buttons extremely hard to push.the girl that checked me in not very friendly.

We stayed for one night and it was fantastic. One thing I would like to mention- When booking the room it stated NO VIEW - for marketing purposes I would suggest saying partial view. We still had a view from our balcony, perhaps not a full lake view. Many hotels say "view" and offer MUCH less of a view than South Pier Inn. Bed was super comfy, room was SUPER clean and it was walking distance to some great restaurants, bars and a distillery. Being that close to the lift bridge was so cool. We also enjoyed the firepit outside. Will definately be back.

We absolutely loved this property. We chose it for proximity to the lift bridge, and the view was amazing. In our one-night stay, we saw 5 oar boats come in. The hotel even offers a late night phone call if guests would like to see the ships that come in overnight. All members of staff were hospitable, professional, friendly and helpful. We had an Executive Suite with fireplace, which was really cozy. The bedding was like sleeping in a cloud. If ever we go back to Duluth, this is where we'll stay.

Shower floor was too slippery.

The location was right at the heart of all the must see! We practically walked all over which was great since we drove 100+ miles to get there.

Breakfast could be better. It was more like snack than anything. Just something to hold you until brunch.
